    The great Wilfredo Gomez a big fan of Pacquiao

    In a ********* interview: http://www.*********.com/j-gon47.htm

    Is there anyone in the fight game that you are a fan of? Who would Wilfredo Gomez pay to go see?

    Without a shadow of a doubt, Manny Pacquiao. That kid is something else. I wish he would have been around when I was fighting. I would have loved to have fought him, and I believe I could have beaten him, too.

    //---

    IMO, Gomez beats Pac @122, toss-up @126 and slightly favoring Pac @130. What do you guys think?

        What do you feel was your best weight-class?

        No question it was 122 pounds. Junior Featherweight or Super Bantamweight or whatever the hell you guys call it today (laughing).

        LOL.....

              What a great interview. Hell of a fighter and human being. I'm happy his life is straight and he is living a happy one.

                Coming from a great fighter himself, the recognition Wilfredo Gomez gave to Pacman gives a Pacman fan a cause for joy.

                  i agree at 122 lbs. there is no way pac beats gomez..gomez is the greatest 122 lbs. ever he had more power and better boxing skills and a better defense than pac ...pac would be gamed but gets koed in this fight within 7 rnds.......at 126 and 130 lbs. it is a toss up but i would favor gomez except at 130 lbs. were i think pac would win gomez did not do well at 130 lbs. even though he did win a title in that div...

                    A great head inflating compliment indeed. Im sure if Pacman had read it he would be soaring.
