i told yall khan nearly made maidana retire, now you can see for yourself.. alexander just pushed him closer to the edge but khan's the one who did the real damage..
Khan made Maidana almost retire by running for his life to survive?
I respect this post. Floyd wants everyone on earth to recognize that he is TBE, well he's got work to do and it starts with MM. All I know is, certain greats would stop MM. Floyd should also. I think Cotto defeats Martinez. I think his power will surprise Sergio. His speed is deceptive, his timing is 2nd to none, and his technique is superior to SM's. Manny is STILL a BEAST and ATG. I thought he would stop Bradley BUT I am satisfied with how he dominated the 2nd half of the fight with his brain and superior boxing skills. He's in another league from Bradley and he said that before the fight. you're cool man. I'll add ya. I've been putting so many on my ignore list, it's good to do the opposite. LoL.
1400 post and you don't know how to use the reply button? LOL and you want to call another user ******ed
Maidana pretty much beat 3 cans in a row + broner for the mayweather shot. I agree alexander made maidana useless and he got out outsmarted by a one eyed overweight erik morales. I dont agree that he should of retired but this fight is gonna be a joke.
Why are you mad? Calm down. And Bradley would beat Chino up!!! What are you smoking? Pillow fist? My guess is that Bradley punches harder than Broner buddy. On top of that, I was pleased with the clinic Manny put on Rios. If Rios didn't come in 10lbs heavier than Manny, Manny would've stopped him. Weight matters! And last time I checked, Rios's chin is better than MM's. On Saturday, you will find that out as well.
Man you are a certified P@ctard .. Bradley = 12 KO's in whole career = PILLOW FISTS, don't let that muscular frame fool you, look at his toothpick legs, he has ZERO power and ZERO defense, Maidana would take his head off. And you were ''pleased'' with Manny beating Rios, but if Floyd had beat Rios it would've been another ''cherry pick'' right. man S.T.F.U there is no cure for P@ctardation.

any fighter facing Mayweather runs the risk of being embarrassed, that has nothing to do with ''cherry picks'' it's just Floyd is the greatest of our era. nobody expected the Canelo fight to be the one sided joke that it was.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26 KO’s) will be getting a base purse of $32 million for this Saturday’s fight against WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31 KO’s), according to Mlive. Mayweather will end up with higher figure than this once the pay-per-view receipts are totaled. The Mayweather-Maidana fight is expected to bring in over 1 million PPV buys, although many people believe it’ll do less than that figure.
Mayweather has the ideal opponent in Maidana and the perfect fight date for the fight to bring in big PPV numbers though due to the fight being staged on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
Mayweather’s guaranteed purse is considerably less than the $41.5 million guaranteed purse that he received for his mega-fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez last September. Maidana will be getting a guaranteed $1.5 million plus a percentage from the PPV receipts from their Showtime PPV fight.
The $32 million that Mayweather will be getting in a base purse is roughly the same that he received in his fights against Robert Guerrero and Miguel Cotto. It would be surprising if the Mayweather-Maidana fight brings in the same PPV numbers as the Cotto fight though, because that fight card had Canelo on the undercard and it did very well. This Saturday’s career has some big stars in Amir Khan and Adrien Broner on the undercard, but they’re not as popular as Canelo and they’re not matched up against popular opponents.
What’s interesting here is that Khan will be receiving $1.5 million, which is the same amount of Maidana. That’s seems kind of odd and out of place for Khan to be getting as much as Mayweather’s opponent given that Khan is in the co-feature bout, and that he’s lost 2 out of his last 4 fights. Collazo will get $350,000.
Broner is facing a fighter named Carlos Molina, a former lightweight who was knocked out by Khan in 2012. The Broner-Molina fight hasn’t generated a great deal of interest from fans because it’s seen as a mismatch, which is what it’s supposed to be given that it’s a confidence builder for Broner. Khan is facing Luis Collazo, and that’s an opponent that mainly older hardcore boxing fans recognize. Collazo is seen by some boxing fans as opponent being brought to give Khan a victory over a name from the past; much in the same way that Khan was matched against an old Marco Antonio Barrera when the Mexican warrior was on the downside of his career, and fighting above his old weight class.
Having Broner and Khan on the card will help the PPV numbers, but considering that neither of their fights are PPV worthy affairs, it’s not likely that having them on the card will have much of an impact to the overall PPV numbers. Golden Boy Promotions should have focused on getting one of them to take on a worthy opponent in order to get fans interested.
man just S.T.F.U. after that atrocious undercard of Pacquiao - Bradley 2 you should be happy as hell about this card coming up. Name me one fighter who fought on Pacquiao's undercard without using Google..I thought so. Khan vs Collazo is not a PPV fight but it is a headliner by itself, and so is Broner, regardless of how you feel about him, he brings in huge ratings and that's all that matters.
I want to believe that Maidana has a chance, but I still can't see it.
Pacquiao, Margarito, Martinez, Cotto have seen the only ones that I could see beating Floyd in the last several years.
First of all, watch your mouth. Secondly, did Floyd get the HULK version of Roidquez and was Ko'ed? Was he coming off one of the biggest KO's in recent memory? Did Manny not deserve to fight a fighter like Rios after a brutal KO? You don't know more about boxing than I do. You just want to argue. Get off my page. I would totally be okay with Floyd fighting Rios if he was coming off a KO like that. You don't know me so back the **** up. And another thing, Bradley is better than most of Floyd's ENTIRE record besides Castillo 1 and Cotto.
