Two time world champion and Toowoomba’s own Michael Katsidis “The Great” will take
on former World Champion, England’s Graham Earl, in a rematch which is sure to
provide as many fireworks as the first fight. The highly anticipated match up will take
place in Toowoomba on July 4.

The pair first met in 2007 when the then WBO world lightweight #2 ranked Michael Katsidis, travelled to London England to take on local hero and then WBO world #1 Graham Earl for the vacant WBO lightweight world interim championship.

a karl taylor 16W 125L. earl won on points.

Unforgettable fight,but if they fights at this point like they did in 2007, there's a serious possibility someone go out on the stretcher in bad,bad,bad condition! I hope in a good fight but not in a repeat,they are both shot and i don't believe they can take a punishment like that no more,Graham Earl in the first obviously!

Definitely out of the blue with this one, the only good thing is both fighters are not the same fighters anymore. I thought Graham Earl was done for good but maybe not.
