Could be fight of the year

    Ike Quartey vs. Vernon Forrest.
Anybody remember the hurtin' Quartey put on De La Hoya only to get screwed by the decision? How about Forrest knockin' Mosley out twice? April 15 they meet. I believe Quartey will prove that he is the man, as he makes another run at the title.

I look for this to be an interesting fight too.I am teeter tottering on the outcome but give the edge to Forrest seeing how even tho he was inactive for a while he has been more active than Ike over the past few years.Ike is probably stronger and could beat him but I am scared to make a call very tough one for me, very excited to see the fight either way.......I thin I will be cheering for IKE though.

I give the edge to Quartey because I'm leery of a big injury like the one Forrest had. Should be an intriguing fight. If both guys haven't lost too much then it will be a barnburner

Exactly... I was wondering where the Forrest knocked out Mosley twice came from. As far as the fight goes... neither of these guys have looked too impressive in their last couple of fights. I'm a big fan of Quartey, and dislike Forrest, so I'd love to see Ike Mayorga his ass. Both guys are in need of a big win, so, much like Mosley-Vargas, I hope both guys go out and lay it all on the line. If they do, I could see it as a fight of the year candidate. I also think Lacy-Calzaghe has the makings of fight of the year, and like Quartey-Forrest, if Sugar Shane and Ferocious Fernando go all out, it could be a possibility. If Corrales-Castillo III goes into the latter rounds, I'd be shocked if they don't get it again, though. Barrera-Chavez is another possible candidate, and Pacquiao-Morales II was a very entertaining fight.

I am fairly excited about this fight.I think it should be a very close fight but Quartey will probably pull it out IMO.
