    Sad, just sad.

You don't know the full story of it. Shares from Argentina, PPV, etc.

People scoffed at Canelo's bottomline to as he is a much bigger star then most, and failed to realize he was getting a PPV %.

          Sigh.

I don't know what was Maidana's actual purse for Broner but Mayweather v Maidana is 1.5Mill with PPV upside. He is probably looking at $3-5 mill depending on how well the PPV does. He will at least make $3mill.

OK, let me change that. Apparently hitting the jackpot = 2 mil more than fighting Broner or $1 mil and some change more than what Berto gets to fight bums on HBO.

              Not a good look.

I am very happy for Maidana to be getting paid $3.5Million. He's a humble guy and a good fighter to watch. He deserves it.

Oh so he's lying about his taxes? I heard this story before...

I'd also love to hear the PPV upside since Floyd's guarantee is $32m and one would expect PPV upside himself. So if the fight sells 1 million PPV buys, how much upside is Maidana gonna see? $500,000?

What is your salary? Maidana is about to make more money in one day than a high percent of the world's population makes in their lifetime. I wish I could make $3.5million dollars in the next 20 years, let alone in 36 minutes.
