Kinda funny that the arguments for trying to justify why Maidana only deserves 1.5 mil are very similar to the ones that people were using to try to say Floyd shouldn't even fight Maidana.

My opinion is if you are trying to sell a fight to someone as a legit fight, the contender's purse probably shouldn't be 1/20 th of what the main draw is getting. It doesn't send a very strong message to the public.

32 million to 1.5 million???? That's just wrong. That damn Mayweather is so tight he rubs the buffalo right off a nickel. The SOB spends more than that on a new car every week or so. Give Maidana the 5 million he is worth you damn tightwad. This is the reason there will never be a Pacquiao fight. Pacquiao will want his share of the money and Mayweather wants to keep all the money. Pacquiao always pays his opponents much more than 1.5 million. Pacquiao's opponents always get from 3 to 10 million and Pacquiao gets maybe 15 or 20 million so the purse split is reasonable.

I've gotten one of my friends into boxing over the last year, but still he's an extreme casual. I think the only boxers he knows are Floyd, Pacquiao, Shawn Porter(now), Broner, and Malinaggi and he knows Maidana as "the problem solver"...

The first fight I showed him was Broner vs Gavin Rees, he ate Broner up

But he doesnt wanna put money into the Floyd PPV because he thinks/knows Floyd won't get a knockout. If what people are saying this has less buzz than Guerrero, it'll be a damn shame if Maidana doesn't leave with more than Broner.

You realize they are 2 different things right? And i dont mean people i mean situations.

Maidana isnt caught yet and doesnt owe. Pac owes millions and I said if Maidana gets caught then i will feel bad for him too.
