no wonder why guerrero is trying to leave golden boy as well, other golden boy fights should follow him to go fight pac at TR, they would make at least doubleComment

The discrepancy is absurd, but Robert Garcia said Maidana didn't take the fight for the money but for the glory.
He joked around about how he'd rather face pacquiao because you'll get a better payday than against Mayweather.Comment

After you deduct the management and trainer cut, Maidana probably won't even get a million out of his total purse. It pisses me off to see a blood and guts fighter like Maidana get low balled to that extent.
His stablemate Rios was coming off a loss and still made $5 mill against Pacquiao, Maidana is coming off the biggest win of his career against one of the biggest draws in Showtime, he deserves more.Comment

They can't afford to pay Maidana his just due. GBP/Haymon is a sinking ship. Smh.Comment

Based on their q-ratings in the US where the vast majority of the money will come from, that is about the correct split.
Also he signed the deal, so it stands to reason he was cool with it, he is just concerned with his end of the deal not what the other side is getting~Comment
