It is more about realizing long term potential than legacy and this is an opportunity to at the very least take a big step forward in his career. This sort of opportunity is rare and is worth a lot, plus he doesn't even have to win to gain he just needs to look like he belongs in the same ring or give him some issues to gain quite a bit.

Bradley may get more to fight Floyd but what about after that? Part of his new deal with TR was not only a bigger purse to sacrifice his 0 for Pac but also bigger guarantee's with his fights after Pac. You think Golden Boy would be willing to guarantee Bradley anything big after a Floyd fight? Looking at this Chino purse I would have to say no. Bradley did the best thing for him long term, even if it means no Floyd fight.

I think as a free agent tim's manager would have negotiated the best contract they could. we don't know tim's purse for his next fight so once we see that then we can make a better comparison.

I agree that he should have stayed with TR. $6 mil in the hand for someone like tim is not something I would've walked away from either.

I think anyone with common sense knows bradley would get more than this given he earns more than Maidana does but if it suits you to pretend otherwise its ok.
