A few days ago someone listed this bout as a snooze. What is the scooo on this 1980's battle. I have heard it was an excellent contest and that Weaver really won , it was ruled a draw though. I have never seen it, if anyone saw this bout please post an accurrate report. Thanks.........

Is was a good fight, one of the better heavyweight fights of the 80's. Dokes had KO'd Weaver in 1 Round in their first fight and came into the rematch in poor shape thinking he was going to KO Weaver again early. Dokes started fast, and hurt Weaver early but Weaver survived and was in better shape and started winning rounds. No knockdowns but good action. Compared to today's heavyweight fights it would be considered a great one. You could make case for either guy winning...
