sure he is. he hired schaeffer to run the ship, and provided the money. they went from a small entity, to the biggest promotional company in boxing. that's what many owners do. they generally don't carry out the day to day operations of their businesses. he hired schaeffer, which was clearly a good idea until a few months ago, when all of this nonsense started to leak to the media.

there's value in putting the right people in place, and bankrolling them. that's what oscar has done, and it's made him a sh#Tload of money.

that money went straight up his nose, which is a problem.

Top Rank continues to lose fighters... Where do they go? Not to GBP, but to Al Haymon... With the potential de la Hoya vs. Schaefer split, it seems that Al Haymon and Schaefer would team up with Showtime eventually. While de la Hoya gets closer to Arum (towards HBO?)...
The ongoing HBO vs. Showtime battle royale will change the big promoters game.

That's what I was thinking.....this will not sit well with Elerbe, he always want to be the man (only man) to take care of Floyd's bussines, soon there will be a rift, division in TMT. you can sign that up

It's gone from a secret and quiet take over to a hostile take over. Uncle Al and the Money team are on a mission.
