I couldn't call RJJ my favorite fighter, but he was up there and that KO gave me the same feeling that I got when PAC got laid out by JMM. It felt like the air went out of the entire bar and everything went in slow motion--not even kidding. That's how I knew that I was obsessed with the sport, as I've never felt that way about any other athletic event (well, maybe when Jordan won the championship on Father's Day after his dad passed bc I was a blubbering mess, but still...)

I have this odd feeling that Mayweather will get KO'd before he retires, and while I love cheering against him, I still appreciate his excellence and think I'll be just as numb if it happens.

well when pac got ko'd by jmm, i was sad that night. i had to grit my teeth the next day lol cause every1 **** on me at school

i started hating boxing when i had to keep watching mosley getting the crap beat out of him at the end of his career. i remember going into the floyd fight i thought shane had a real great shot. the worst was when canelo beat the snot out of him. i wasnt interested in the other undercards but i rushed home just before the mosley-canelo fight happened. lol, i was dead silent as mosley was getting his ass beat.

My first favorite fighter that lost was Trinidad back in the day against Hopkins. I was a corrupt little kid like I am now back then because I remember hoping Hopkins would get robbed since it was taking place in NY but then he stopped him.

I know it's not technically his first loss, but Tarver was the first guy to actually beat Roy and that hit me hard. I kind of fell out of boxing after that.

it's boxing and losing is part of the sport.

i'd be sad if my favorite fighter goes on a hurried vacation just to duck a whole division.

Even though I was born in 87 Ali was my favorite fighter. He was this big mythical legend who never lost a fight. Well watching Espn classic. It took 3 years watching him fight on Espn classic wheb I seen him lose for the first time to Smoking Joe Fraizer. Even though I had read about it. I was sad I laid down and in utter disbelief for like an hour.
