Tyson was massively overrated. He had a great early run but his title fight wins were against either old guys or limited opposition. He would be no more than a contender in the Klitschko era.

tunney and foreman are frequently mentioned as some of the greatest of all times - can't see how they're underrated.

Especially Tunney, who wasn't even a career heavyweight.

Underrated would probably be Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis.

Also Joe Frazier. I frequently see posters (trolls) on here referring to Frazier as a poor man's Sam Peter

i think this is one of the reasons why wladimir is underrated. people group his accomplishments in with his brother's. in reality, they are separate people with separate careers, and one has a much better resume than the other.


it doesn't help that a lot of people, myself included, would have picked vitali to win a fight in their primes.

True enough,

Resume wise Wladimir has the credentials to be at least top 15 ATG, possibly top 10.

Vitali, although tougher than his brother, doesn't have the resume to be more than a HOF imo.

As for the most underrated, I'd go for Jersey Hoe Walcott , I rarely see his name mentioned in this forum.
