The question that should be asked to GBP fanboys is, do you accept that GBP fighters are ducks? Why won't they fight Thurman?

Can you imagine Rios ducking this guy, or Provo, Bradley, Alvarado...?

I think a lot of people who dislike him are fans of fighters who have ducked him. Maidana for example. Thurman has beaten pretty much the same level of opposition as Maidana and he hasn't even fought any elite fighters yet (because he hasn't been given the opportunity).

People keep saying 'who has he beaten?', ignoring the fact that fighters like Porter, Maidana, Guerrero, Pauli etc have publicly turned him down. What is he supposed to do?

And let's not act like Quintana, Zavcek, Diaz, Karass and Chaves are club fighters. They are all solid tests.

Diaz gave Khan and Porter all they could handle recently, the guy is solid veteran.

He's more credible than the likes of Ortiz, Guerrero and Maidana (that doesn't say much tbh). Between those 3, their best wins are Berto, Soto Karass and Broner. Pretty pathetic, don't you think?

I don't want Thurman fighting Floyd yet, but he deserves the fight every bit as much as those guys.

Because HE IS A THREAT! Also due to the fact that he wasn't one of the chosen ones that fans been hyping for a long time like Broner, Khan, Victor Ortiz and some of the others who all have fallen short trying to stay undefeated and reach that Elite Level

Porter and Thurman...NOBODY was hyping either of these fighters to be honest and now they are making noise in the Welterweight Division

Fans don't like when other fighters come along who could possibly ruin the plans of other fighters they want to see become Stars. This is why Donaire fans HATE Rigondeaux and Canelo fans HATE Lara...because they see them and threats of possibly ruining the fighter that they want to see become stars. Rigondeaux did it to Doniare lol

Same with WARD, most of his hate comes from bitter Froch and Kessler fans because Ward ruin there plans...which was for them to see Froch and Kessler dominate 175 and remain the best after the Super 6 Tournament because not many PICKED Ward to win it when the Tournament First Started
