        Yes, many fans would think more of his power if he stopped Maidana who has never been stopped. He has always been a decent puncher but not a big puncher. A fighter's power is not going to increase in his late thirties. I think it's possible he KOs Maidana but more likely he doesn't.

          stoppages come in different forms
          if he outright KO's him, it's on Maidana walking into a nasty counter
          that or Floyd digs in hard body punches
          most likely a stoppage here occurs via fatigue/mental checkout
          Floyd will break him down, sap his confidence, and end him late
          that wouldn't add quality points to Floyd's power gauge

            No. He has always had enough power to stop most of his opponents, even at welterweight, but he needs accumulation. It's doubtful that he'll ever open up enough to get a stoppage nowadays, no matter the opponent.
