Lightweight prospect Michael Angelo 'The Artist' Perez looks to extend his unbeaten streak to six straight as he faces Mexico's Jorge Romero in a scheduled 10-round main event Monday evening in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Perez (19-1-2, 10KO) was a highly touted rising lightweight in the Golden Boy stable until running into the lethal fists of then-unknown Omar Figueroa in Jan. '12. The New Jersey-based Boricua hasn't quite yet returned to past form, though is coming off of a wide points win in his most recent ring appearance last September.

Their bout airs later this evening on Fox Sports 1.
