I just want to say, with all this upset talk and all.... an upset isn't what is needed for boxing, just a good competitive fight against floyd is what is needed.
everyone is looking for lightening in a bottle for Maidana, when the reality is, there just needs to be a fighter who makes floyd look human, make floyd fight in a heated competitive match up.
I do believe Maidana is capable of doing that, but everyone trying to anticipate or predict an upset, get off it, I understand, but the reality of the situation is really being over looked.
the total skill set of floyd trumps maidana's, that is a fact, at least what we can see, is, what is in on the inside of each fighter when the action gets heated is the difference and where Maidana can shine through, proving himself to be the man to take floyd to task, but that has to come through hellfire and is going to be a tough night out for Maidana in order to show what he has, his mental fortitude.
Mayweather isn't going to get caught up like broner did, he isn't going to get caught with a ****** lucky type punch (no lucky punches in boxing or in the broner fight just a figure of speech), he isn't going to get ****** in to a shoot out, floyd never does.
its going to be hard pressing action for Maidana, he isn't going to out think floyd in the ring, he can out hustle him but it has to be accurate otherwise it's just work and giving floyd openings to counter punch.
bottom line what I am getting at is, don't hinge everything on an upset or a blowout.... lets put stock in hopes of a competitive fight and hoping that Maidana's power can level playing field to make this a good fight fans type fight.
it's an exciting fight, I am eager to see this one unfold, all I can ask for is a competitive fight with good fight action, and hopefully some good boxing drama without controversy.....
