Bonavena - Ali was one of the first fights I watched in my life (1970). I'd say Bonavena gave Ali a lot of problems. He even shocked Ali in the 4th, but eventually he was losing on points, took huge risks in the 15th trying to KO Ali and the Greatest (+ TBE) TKOd him.

Don't talk like Maidana is a P4P fighter and he's not a 12-1 underdog. He was a good option at the time because he had a big win and other guys already had fights, that's all.
