  • Have noticed why Floyd doesn't have much ko's

In Floyd last 8 fights he could have legit stop all of the fights he faced outside of Canelo and Oscar. They were to big for him I believe. People always go on and on about roughing Mayweather up. If you look back over Floyds carrer, every fighter who was successful in the ring against him. Usually took a lot of punishment, got stop or got so gun shy to the point where they are basically surviving until the closing bell. Floyd is usually so far ahead on the scorecards. He doesn't press for the ko, because to him a win is a win.

Ricky Hatton: Ricky came out on fight night made it rough and made Floyd stay active. He got stopped.

Jaun Manuel: Marquez was to small, wasn't a threat at all Floyd could easily Ko Marquez. If Marquez was willing to seriously engage him down the stretch.

Shane Mosley: Mosley cracked Floyd good in the second round. After round six Shane was tired and on his bike. Had he been as live as the first six rounds during the last six round no doubt about it, Floyd stops Shane.

Victor Ortiz: Victor made it a dirty fight he had no respect for Floyd. Had the Fight continued at the pace it was going Floyd would have put victor down anyways.

Miguel Cotto: Miguel came to fight made Maywether dig down and fight him. Especially in the mid rounds. After round 9 Cotto faded. Had he been coming at Maywether rounds 10,11,12 he most likely gets stopped.

Robert Guerrero: Ghost didn't do absolutely anything. Had he came out and let his hands go. Floyd counters him to death and putting him down.

Saul Alvarez: Canelo was suppose to come out apply pressure and bully Floyd. That never came to fruition. He didn't throw much or do much at all. Had he fought like Cotto. He would have prolly gassed down the stretched. That couple with him eating superb counters prolly get him out of there. Big prolly because Canelo was so big.

Fact of the matter is you haters call him a pot shooter and says he's always running. In reality the opposition is really running from mayweather. He's a defensive fight so he's offensive onslaught isn't much. So these guys stop punching at him because they know he's never gonna go full on kamikaze to get the knock out. So they sit back and survive. All this guys say the same thing pre fight. Get in the ring get cracked with a couple of counters and fold up like school girls. If Maidana brings the fight to Floyd all night he gets put to sleep.

Yup. Outside of Canelo and Oscar Floyd could stop everyone he faced.

Edit: Floyd's not stopping Maidana. Stop fooling yourself. He will win a decision.

Floyd has the ability, power, speed, skill or whatever to stop anyone he faces. He can stop Maidana.

We'll have to see how many flush bombs Maidana can handle, how Maidana handles Floyds body work and we'll have to see how Floyd hands hold up which is really the main factor more so than fighters being too big for him.

The guy is the most feared KO artist of the 21 century. That's without question. 20 years of boxing. 22 KO's. That's an insane KO rate.

Floyd is too scared to look for a KO incase his whiskers get touched.

I see Maidana getting frustrated as the fight goes on. But no doubt he'll try to hurt Floyd during the first few rounds.

Look I don't want to discredit Mayweather's ability because he is far and away the best in the sport, but this just comes off as a bunch of excuses. You guys won't let this fly for other fighters so it shouldn't for Floyd either. If he has the power, speed, and ability then he should have done it. Period.

What fighter hasnt Floyd hurt in his most recent fights? Hes hurt Canelo, Mosley, Ortiz (KO), Cotto, Guerrero, etc. He hurt all those guys at one point or another during all their respective fights. Hes not a feather fist and he has the timing, power and speed to put it all together. Watch the fights people.
