Larios stopped McCullogh sp? didnt he, and that guy stayed up right against Naz for 12 rounds and everyone else he fought. I think he has a chance.

Pac Man is awesome, but he is not the hardest puncher at featherweight don't forget about Danny Lopez,Wilfredo Gomez,Sandy Saddler and he is definitely not as strong puncher at super featherweight cuz if he was he would definitely had knocked out Morales and that bum he fought before Morales with one punch. He is still awesome I aint hating on him. Now Larios is cold he can outbox anybody but he likes to make it fun for the fans, but he did out box Nedal Hussein who knocked Manny on his ass and almost got his ass if were not for that dumb ass referee who did a horrible job with both fighters in that fight. Larios got spanked in his last fight by a very good technician of the sport Israel could give anybody trouble and that is why Larios is not really interested in fighting him again. Larios is small and throws pillow punches well Ivan Calderon does not have punching power to save his life but he seems to be doing good and how about Willie Pep who is ranked #1 in most experts all time pound for pound list he had no punching power as his record states(check boxrec.com).I think Manny has the upper hand in this fight but I wont be shocked if Chololo comes back with the win. Truth be told I think this fight will be alot closer than most experts think it will be. They are both good at what they do.

Not the hardest punching featherweight ever? lol!

Just take a quick look at this list.
          JMM
          MAB
          EM

All of them kissed the floor. Gomez was slow as a prick in his prime. I don't know much about the other fighters you're claiming, but it's the who's whom that really matters. 3 Mexican greats kissing the canvas has yet to be topped dude.

But the point is, the only way Larios wins this one is if PAC doesn't train. Larios has his jab and reach advantage, everything else belongs to PAC. The foot and handspeed, the killer blows, the southpaw stance, the granite chin, the horsepower-like gas lungs, etc.

Larios is in for a last hurrah and a big payday, that's just it. The problem with these matchups is that when a top class fighter like PAC gets paired with a B-level fighter like Larios, then accidents and bad outcomes normally happen.

For Larios' sake, I hope it's an early KO. If it goes the distance, then it means more pain and more beating. There is no way he will be able to outbox PAC with his slow footspeed, PAC will simply cut him off like he did to Morales and launch the those awkward overhand hooks and uppercuts. Larios' jab won't be much of an asset either, lateral and head movement will simply negate it and his jab will be his own undoing. EM tried to jab his way towards the later rounds and all he got was nasty traps and counters.

The bad part is, Larios has a very dubious chin. If that chin doesn't hold, one sick punch and BOOM! It's over.

I give Larios a chance only because he is a very active fighter who moves alot. I think he will try to counter PAC but it should be a fun fight cause PAC loves to go forward.I have only two ?'s 1: is Larios too small for PAC and 2:PAC's defense? That's why I think anything can happen in this fight.

Larios' last fight was at 122, to go from there right to 130 is a pretty big jump. Even though he could probably make the weight fairly easily, I think the added weight will slow him down a little and he wont be able to move as well, much less throw the amount of punches he usually does. Pacquiao I think is too fast and strong, however since this fight is in May wouldnt Pac have to jump right back into training sometime next month to be in the same condition he was in for the Morales fight? I thought that this was kinda soon, but I still gotta go with Pacquiao.

I am not saying he does not have punching power, he does but he does not have the one punch power that he had at 122 when he beat morales, barrera, velasquez he won by accumulating punches he did not stop them with BOOM! one punch and he has trouble with wiley boxers. Morales won the first fight becaused he boxed and slugged well something he did not do well in the second fight mainly because Manny did very well with his jab and body shots which hurt Erik in his later rounds. Now you're saying Wilfredo was slow, obviously you have not really seen him fight I have 20+ fights on dvd and in his prime he would of broken Manny's jaw off just like many fighters of his time,he fought in a golden time of featherweights do you really think Manny could of beaten Salvador Sanchez. Erik looked like crap against Raheem and was ****** for fighting Manny again,he should of retired cuz he did not look like himself against Manny either he is starting to look like an old fighter. Now Manny is not a big guy either and I don't think that Manny is much bigger than Larios. I do agree with you that Larios has a shaky chin and if he gets caught he will go down but Larios is no B-level fighter either. He is a seasoned world champion and is used to going in to peoples backyards and winning.

Is this fight in the Phillipines? If so, Manny will come in in fabulous shape ready to rock. If this is the case, Larios is in trouble. If Manny fights like he's capable, I don't see Larios making it out the 6th or 7th round. However, if Manny takes him likely, it could be a close fight. Manny looks unstoppable right now. I don't think Morales or Barrera stand much of a chance if they try to avenge their losses, and Pacman will dominate the division if he maintains focus. Larios is a very good fighter, but he isn't as big as Manny, and will likely fall victim to those heavy hands.
