Does Lucas Matthysse deserve a rematch with Danny Garcia?

no one likes garcia. not americans ni puertoricans. his low blowing, clinching, thumbing, gift receiving reign of terror is over. everyone seems to forget he nearly lost to a one eyed guy and he needed a dubious knockdown in that fight to win. fair and square? fair and square is not thumbing a guy and rendering him half blind. fair and square is not rabbit punching a guy so that he becomes tangled in the ropes. wow you knocked down a defenseless guy what an accomplishment! you should rematch without thumbing him in the eye and without tony weeks letting you low blow, clinch, and rabbit punch your opponent between the ropes without saying a word. that would be fair and square. don't pretend like you won clean.

things happen when your in a fight that you cant control. you act like he was thumbed in the eye on purpose. you are making more excuses for lucas than he made for his self. its a fight. **** happens

rios gave Alvarado a rematch because that was the biggest fight he could make at the time. mosley gave de la hoya a rematch cause that was the biggest fight he could make, and the first fight was a classic. Garcia vs lucas wasn't a classic, and its not the biggest fight out there for danny. whats the point in fighting lucas again right now at this moment. he could unify with Peterson or rematch Herrera. or move up too the loaded 147 division. im a matthysse fan, but there is no reason danny should look backwards. he already beat lucas

Lucas will be a better option than almost any fight Garcia will take next, that's almost a guarantee. Who at 140 is a better option or bigger fight for Garcia than Lucas, nobody

I personally wasn't impressed with Mathysse. Molina while a tough guy, is very limited and has poor boxing.

I was saying from round one how he pulls back with his hands down and it was just a matter of time of him being stopped.

Mathysse getting caught by this guy showed his vulnerability.

Hell yes he deserves a rematch, many people thought Danny lost to Herrera meanwhile Matthysse just had a FOTY performance, a rematch makes all the sense in the world.

Lucas DESERVING a rematch is some of the most corniest **** in the air atm....Herrera is that cat that DESREVES another walk through hell....Lucas got beat in a good close fight....noone disputes that outcome....but Herrera got dudes saying he won so I guess that's a good enough reason to do a sequel
