Nah. He'll get clinched up on the inside. You'll see. The few shots Maidana will get off, won't hit the mark. He'll get clinched, separated, and pot shotted all night.

Notice how Guerrero's "MONSTER" in fighting got nullified with Floyd's clinching? Same story.
lol @ ghosts monster in fighting, he is overrated, didn't deserve the fight, and didn't have a chance coming in.

Maidana won't let himself get clinched up, he will bully Floyd and out muscle him.

I wasn't implying Ghost had a monster in fighting game. I quoted it to tell you how people thought that was gonna cause Floyd problems. Just like with Maidana. You will see my friend. Clinch, clinch, and more clinch, all while being pot shotted.

Devon Alexander clinched Chino whenever he felt like it..of all the things to work on in camp, i hope Robert Garcia covered this...if they can't get out of clinches, then this fight will be more one sided than im predicting

lastly, the most important thing Chino's team needs to accomplish is getting the ref on board to watch Floyd's use of the elbows...he's gonna apply pressure and if Floyd can't clinch, those elbows and forearms will be on Chino's neck and face...they need to make sure the ref doesn't allow that

once all that is established, then Chino has a shot of getting enough distance and space to land the lucky shot we're all waiting for

Refs will let it happen anyways. Only ref I'd trust is Kenny Bayless, and they're damn sure not using him.

Well cutting off a ring includes keeping distance to throw punches without getting clinched.

Yes, Floyd doesn't punch in combination or jump in and out. Speed won't undo Maidana, Floyd's measured approach will. Thinking man's game.
