Mayweather gonna go broke, it's impossible for him to maintain this level.
After he retires I hope he gets some GOOD
investment advice, and invest into some great business.
Them 80 body guards and whores gonna eat him alive.
But it is his OWN MONEY, let him spend it the way he wants too.Comment

This has to be the most ignorant comment I have ever seen about Mayweather. If Mayweather was a family man with moral values that didn't revolved around money, he would be making $5 million per fight, blowing his money as quickly as he got it, would owe the IRS millions of dollars and would be getting taken advantaged of by a greedy promoter on a daily basis. Does this sound like anyone you know.Imagine if Mayweather was a family man with moral values that didn't revolve around money; not possible. His massive ego that has developed through years of arrogance comes with an endless price tag.
It's no secret that both of his parents are former drug addicts, leaving Mayweather predisposed to addiction, because the man has clearly developed an addiction to spending large amounts of cash.
What percent of his popularity can be attributed to the self-indulgent lifestyle and ego-driven personality, could Mayweather have reached this level of celebrity on boxing skills alone?
Hopefully he has enough money to keep himself in check long enough to complete his contract, and possibly even one up Rocky Marciano in the history books.
To answer your question, 90 percent of his popularity can be attributed to his self-indulgent lifestyle and ego driven personality. If he didn't display these things, he would be making $10 to $12 million per fight instead of $60 to $70 million per fight.
The fact that his parents are former drug addicts has nothing to do with his desire to spend money. Everyone likes to make and spend money, except you of course. I am sure you probably live on an Amish farm with no electricity, no car, and no modern conveniences like computers and internet service.Comment

He'd be more likeable and people could relate to him. That's why Pacquiao is adored by millions. He's a humble human being.Comment

If only he could look after his money like Pac..oh waitI don't think I've ever seen an athlete with worst money spending habits
Cars lose money the second they are driven off the lot. You can buy a used Rolls Royce for under $50k. Custom ***elry is the same never resells for as much as it was purchased for. Losing $10 million ******** on 1 game.
And when you factor in housing costs like property tax and electricity to air condition a mansion in Vegas, its millions of dollars a year.
Its just a matter of timeComment
