    Floyd Mayweather Complex

Mayweather is living the life, but seeing the heights that he's willing to go just to express his excessive lifestyle was just sad to watch; like a train wreck in slow motion. The dude is in his late 30's and acts like a kid in a candy store still, what's even more sad is how these million dollar spending binges seem to be self-indulgent as opposed to self-preservation.

He's clearly suffering from some deep mental - perhaps spiritual issues that no amount of money can fix.

Did you ever think that maybe he's just rich and enjoying his life? Why is it such a problem that he spends his money on nice things or surrounds himself with certain people. How about who ****in cares and just appreciate a fighter who's incredibly skilled while he still fights.

Exactly. I'm a huge Floyd fan while he is in the ring. I also love watching his training videos and how he puts himself in different gears. Truth is, he is no different than a lot of celebrities who have lots of money and don't address their deeper issues. After boxing, I truly believe he will find his true happiness and realize it has nothing to do with money. In the meantime, let's enjoy his boxing because he's truly a master at his craft. I'd give anything to be that gifted in one thing in my lifetime. So let's admire his work ethic and the fact that his job is still to go into a ring and fight another man who wants to take his head off-- despite his half a billion dollar earnings.

Co f u c k i n g sign!!! Why u worried about what the next man does with his money? He earned it so he can do what he wants...people act like if they made 80 mil for a nights work that they would be born again Christians and do good things...BS!! Everyone on this site would splurge on something...be it a vacation and new car new clothes...new place to live...everyone would buy something excessively nice!

It's all part of his aura. His theme. Wtf is the big deal? That's part if what makes his "character."

You take that away from him he's just highly skilled boxer, little guy, who is boring to watch in the ring. And would be boring outside of the ring.

He would be equivalent to Rigondeaux without this portion of his character.

He seems fine to me, maybe a little sad because he just broke off his engagement, which is completely normal.

i think those people who count floyd's money and say how he's going to go broke or how he should and shouldn't spend his money are even sadder than he is.

When your family looks at you as some kind of breadwinner when you're only 12 years old, and your whole entire life is crafted around the notoriety you have of being good at a sport you have a good chance of all your marbles not being there.

Having your whole life basically crafted from the ground up, not able to chill, get in trouble like normal teenagers, go to prom, not ever being able to have a genuine interaction with someone, everyone wanting to use you, etc yeah you might not come out of all of that with your mental marbles in tact... Reminds me of the things I take for granted as an average Joe(Even though I wish I had his bank account).

If it wasn't for Mayweather's attitude, he wouldn't be the best in the sport. His ego is what's propped him up to be the best.

I don't even hate him for being flashy and braggadocios. ****, I'd be living it up as well. I only hate him for his cherry picking and his most die hard defense attorney "fans".

His money is not my concern. If that was the case, I'd hate every professional athlete ever.
