Well if Purity can batter Wlad all over Louis certainly can.

Quarry was average and is overrated because he fought Ali twice.

He would have been brutalized by half of Wlad's title fight resume and beat on points by 35% of the others.

You know it's true and if you don't you are fooling yourself.

Yeah, when he was in his prime right? 6'2, 200 lbs. He would likely knock Wlad through the ropes. He was also faster and more powerful than David Haye, right? Easy night for Louis.

Your proof being that it could never quite possibly happen so you can hold onto the idea I guess, you seen what happened to guys who are much bigger and stronger than Joe Frazier in the modern era of boxing (Tua, Tyson)

These guys are huge exceptions to the rule, they're strong, fast and extremely powerful whilst one of the reigns (Mike) was good and the other (Tua) was short lived he never remained champion long at all those are both guys who would of been complete destroyers in the 60s, 70s and 80s challenging the best.

Things evolve and methods of fighting are adopted and simple put a good big man always beat a small good fighter Joe has nothing to bring to the game like a prime Tyson or Tua he is always there slow and plodding and he wouldn't have anywhere near the same power as those two.
A prime tyson would be good in any era......but tua gets battered. joe fraizer was always undersized (thats what you modern day fans don't get) but joe had an extremely high gas tank. he was like an old smokey BBQ pit (once you get it started it can smoke for days) hints the term "smoking" joe fraizer. joe had a high volume and regularly overpowered bigger opponents with work rate speed & volume punches (punches to the shoulder, stomach, chest, head. everywhere) & he had a sneaky powerful left hook that could sneak up & knock down anyone..........joe could easily take away a big mans jab by bobbing and weaving (constantly moving his head & body as he walked in) which has all but disappeared in modern day heavyweights. no one bobs and weaves like joe did anymore. no one even attempts the style..........joe was very high work & intense in the ring.

let me correct that. chosara actually made an attempt at the joe fraizer style (against vitali) & i gave him 5 rounds in that fight. pretty close.............

            • Joe Louis got KTFO by a 184 lbs slugger

'yeah, but Louis was way past his prime when he faced Marciano'

He was the same age as Wladimir is TODAY.

If Brewster and Sanders could, why couldn't Smokin Joe?
