Boxing isn't merchandised and marketed as well as MMA/UFC is and that is the main problem as to why the sport isn't doing as well...

Come on look at some of the athletes of the UFC sport they're not exactly the greatest of all time but they get treated that way because they're sold to the fans properly and people buy into the hype similar to the old days of boxing when the sport could be probably been considered thee best sport in USA.

Although nowadays most of the Yanks will prefer to take the easier route of your Basketball and your American Football.

It shouldn't have to be demeaned by a bunch of idiots who can't accept that their is talent, a lot of talent coming out of Europe.

Honestly, both Klitschko's have 2 of the best resumes ever compiled in HW boxing.

Their opponents were all much heftier than almost any on record on average, all of their opponents had comparatively much better records than previous champs opponents, most either unbeaten or nearly unbeaten contenders, and a lot of them either former, current or future champs.

David Haye, Sultan Ibragimov, Ruslan Chagaev, Alexander Povetkin, Samuel Peter, Hasim Rahman, Kubrat Pulev (next), Tony Thompson, Chris Byrd, Eddie Chambers, Corrie Sanders, Lamon Brewster and so on, they would have been top competitors in any era of boxing to say the least!

Even one of his so called worst opponents, Mormeck, was bigger and leaner than almost all pre 1980 opponents, hit harder than most of them and is far more athletic than any of them. More the point he is a highly skilled fighter and a multiple world champion with an excellent record at CW. That was a "stay busy fight for Wlad".

What sort of opponents were stay busy fights for past champs?

The Klitschko's have 2 of the best resumes of any HW boxer.

The 2 that really come close are Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield, but Holyfield LOST to many of his good opponents.
