Some of you guys need to take a chill pill and give credit to the men that fought there hearts out and gave us a great fight. Instead most of you are trying to discredit one or he other of theses warriors.

This was a dangerous fight for both guys going into this fight. Molina is a huge lightweight almost like Chico at 130 and he's been fighting there for 8 years. I'd say its logical that 140 is a natural fit for him at this point in his career and its obvious he takes a punch better at this weight.

Molina has improved as a fighter since the Demarco fight. Salido was knocked out by nobody's but has gone on to fight everyone at 126 from JMM to Mikey Garcia and none of those guys stopped him. Khan was starched by Prescott but took everything Maidana had. It doesn't make sense but fighters can improve over time.

Garcia fanboys still hanging on to the Matthysse win, while conveniently forgetting Herrera Ha Ha. Lucas won HIS last fight, Danny boy didn't (anyone with half a boxing brain and a video editor can watch that fight objectively).

Danny "gift of the year" Garcia
Lucas "fight of the year" Matthysse.

Some fighters give to boxing, others just take.......

Don't forget that Lucas came and did what he said he would do. Danny had a hometown promotional advantage, top dog status and an opponent who was really passed his best, but he still nedded the judges to win it for him.

I like both guys, but from what I have seen so far. Danny left more in the ring than Lucas last September.

That was in the amateurs and in amateurs people don't really settle down and put everything on their shots. I am sure it will be a lot more harder if he fought Maidana today.

I don't see anywhere in there where he says that he's the hardest puncher he's faced.

some cats on here are so biased and their knowledge of the game is so shallow - please, Matthysse has one of THE BEST CHINS in the Game! Molina is 5'10 and has KO's against very good fighters in the late rounds, he has incredible power - not too many fighters have late round KO's, that speaks volumes about his power, and for Matthysse to be able to make his adjustments and battle back (he lost the 1st round, got dropped in the 2nd, and cut in the 3rd) WTF are you bandwagon biased idiots talking about? Danny Garcia got exposed if anyone, and Danny is a very big 140 pounder, so when he moves up all of the mistakes will be magnified because he will be fighting bigger and better opposition! oh yeah, Matthysse is listed at 5'6 - dude is a real machine, Once Danny gets an official loss its over, you guys see how Angel is really truly not on board with his son moving up. Danny has problems with speed and movement , his foot work will be exposed, his lack of making adjustment will be exposed, Not him following the game plan, because I feel Danny is one of the best at following the plan, but if the plan is not working, he gets frustrated and seems to not be able to make the right adjustments...

Matthysse should stay away from Garcia if he is looking to stay winning. I think and feel Garcia will beat Lucas again. Regardless of how Garcia looked against Herrera because Herrera is a technical guy while Matthysse is not. Garcia has problems with guys who carry speed and can box better. Lucas has no speed advantage over Garcia and Garcia showed to be the better boxer of the two. Garcia took Matthysse best and gave his own. Garcia beats him again in a rematch. With that said.... I would like to congratulate both men for a great fight and night for boxing. Both came to win but there can only be one winner.

If you guys do not think Matthysse is a good boxer you are smoking and have 2 cataracts in your eyes - the man is 5'6 fighting a power puncher who is 5'10 there are going to be shaky moments in the beginning of a fight with such a size difference Molina knocked out 2 very good BOXERS in the late rounds (Hank Lundy & Mickey Bey) When the machine lost to Garcia, he started to lose the fight when his EYE began to close, before that it was a very competitive fight ! stop exposing yourselves with the very limited knowledge - please do not think the only guys in the world that can box or are good boxers have the name of Ward / Mayweather Bradley / marquez / etc - there are a lot of good boxers in BOXING, but when someone losses we say they where exposed ad so on - not sure if people really understand what they are witnessing - Matthysse was not just brawling, because if that was the case he would have gotten KO'd - do not sleep, Molina can crack and Matthysse can box, he might not be the most technical boxer, but he can and last night he did box which setup the KO - remember when the announcers where praising Matthysse's jab, well my friends that is a boxers best weapon to setup his power shots, which he did!!!
