    Leapai vs Wepner

Ok, this is basically for all the haters.

Theoretically speaking, who wins out of a mythical matchup between Leapai and Chuck Wepner?

I mean they were both no hopers who were supposed to get beaten easily.

The difference is that Chuck was a lot more competitive with a younger Ali than Leapai was against a 38 year old Wlad Klitschko.

    Who was better?

    Vote, discuss, thanks.

You see my agenda? How did you get that smartie? Was it because I wrote it in the post itself?

Don't take anything personally. This is a way to help people understand how special Wladimir is by allowing them to think about the situation a different way. Don't get butt hurt because you think I'm saying he would beat Ali or something.

Leapai said in the post-fight presser he wants to fight Shannon Briggs (who called him a bum) or Lucas Browne next.
Him and Browne would be big business in Aussie land. I think that's a good test for both guys.

Leapai obviously but maybe 2% of this forum will have watched the Wepner fight and see the point you're making lol. Bums have come a long way.

When you criticize the 3rd greatest cruiserweight of all time you are playing with a hornets nest because he's even more of a political/cultural figure than a boxing figure.

This really isn't deserving of an answer it's that sad, but I'll give it to you anyway because it's so obvious where you're going with this, what your little agenda is and the bias you hold. Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself.

                Here is your answer though:

Foreman, Frazier, Moore, Patterson, Norton, Liston, Foster.

That's not just the good fighters and champions Ali beat. That's just the HOFers Ali beat.

Now, let me explain something important to you. Read the following closely.

If Wlad had fought a long career in the greatest heavyweight division ever, he could have a ****ty stay busy fight or two, in between fighting a prime Joe Frazier, prime George Foreman then straight after Wepner, Ron Lyle, Joe Bugner and Joe Frazier again, but when your whole career is full of Wepners and Leapais then it's not deserving of such a comparison and your whole point is made obsolete.

It's funny that you mention Wepner actually. While he was just a stay busy fight, if you go just a few fights either side of Wepner, you have an entire career of opponents combined thats better than what Wlad has had the misfortune of having to face. It's a pity he wasn't in another era, but trying to compare the two on this weak basis is really quite embarrassing and pitiful.

You put more thought into that bull**** post than you should have a55hole.

I don't have some underlying agenda. It's clearly put in the thread itself.

Ali was a depleted shell at 38 years old getting his head batted around by Holmes.

My point is that while Ali was allowed to take his tuneup fight in which was competitive against a lesser fighter, which I may add was not a mandatory and get a pass because of who he was while Wladimir gets **** on for facing not only his mandatory, but a lot better fighter than Wepner was.

The poll was straight forward and should have been taken as such.

Don't get all cry baby and talk **** to me in my thread or I'll put your b*tch a55 on ignore.
