Maidana's power??

Just watched all access episode 2 for Mayweather and Maidana and I'm starting to believe in Maidana's power. Sure yea he has a strong over hand right but do yall think he is bringing anything in the ring Floyd won't be able to handle? Floyd has said for this fight he will be fighting in the pocket and I bet he'll be even more aggressive from when he fought Guerrero in the pocket because Maidana seems to pose less of a threat.

I new he had power all along. I've seen him fight many times, but the notion in Garcia's camp is that he is stronger and more synchronized with his power. Guerrero was never as big of a puncher as Maidana but he is a boxer puncher and has considerable reach and speed over Maidana. Guerrero is also bigger then Maidana and has better technical skills. I see this fight turning out like Mayweather vs Gatti. Maidana is going to get overwhelmed and picked apart. I wish it wouldn't turn out like that. Maidana's best chance is to try to take him out early.

If Maidana doesn't bull rush Mayweather like he did against Broner...all that power would be of no use. The only way Maidana lands anything on Mayweather is by keeping the pressure up at all times, that's when Mayweather gets uncomfortable.

I hope Maidana doesn't try & box him like Canelo did...****** move IMO.

Pretty obvious he's got power, silly to say he doesn't. The only thing Maidana could utilize is his jab he has a decent jab, it really won't make a difference though. Floyd is going to decision Maidana easy.

Let the Maidana hype train go in full force now a week left to go.

Maidana hits a hell of a lot harder than Guerrero in my opinion. Floyd is about a 10 to 1 favorite because he has proven time and time again he is very hard to beat. Maidana is a great puncher with both hands and damn near all his punches are hard and often very hard. He is tough and fearless and never stops throwing about 70 hard punches round after round. It's logical to think he trained harder for this incredibly important fight than he ever trained before and will fight better than ever before. I give him a good puncher's chance to score the upset victory.

gatti was shot to pieces, marcos isn't. in fact he looks better than ever. if floyd puts a fight like that, mad props to him
