The whole novelty factor of the UFC is pretty much gone now. They peaked around 08-10 and have been on the decline ever since. It's gotten so bad that they've resorted to pushing some tart as the the promotions biggest star after Dana White spent years dismissing the possibility of ever promoting female fights.
I watched it quite extensively a few years ago and the product was ridiculously cheesy and naff even then. Right now it just seems like a really bad self-parody. Rogan is supposed to be an expert analyst but is actually nothing more than a company hype man, reduced to blurting out the same cliches time and time again.Comment

^Seems like more and more people think this way. It's sad that the UFC has become more of a product than a sport. What a short lived prime. There's more MMA fans turning away from it than boxing fans hating on it.Comment

"The famous people that you have right now are the only famous people that are going to exist in the future for boxing. The Oscar De La Hoya's, the Bernard Hopkins', the Jermain Taylor's, the guys that were already famous before UFC came along. There will be no new ones."
