Oh well he had as good a career as you can have with the talent he had. Had a few tough decisions that didn't go his way but that's boxing.

This sport is the hurting business. You get ****** with vicious body shots, and you quit because you don't want any more punishment, then shut up and just call it a TKO, end of the story. Hopkins stopped Dela Hoya with a hook to the liver. They didn't announce, "this fight has been stopped on account of a liver injury". Diaz got more than he wanted and knew the outcome would not be good, so he quit in his corner. The check cashed. Next.
Fights are stopped on injuries all the time. The body shot that appeared to have fractured his ribs was brutal. It's amazing that he was able to finish the round.

It's always funny to read these key board warriors like yourself criticize a world class boxer, for abandoning the fight after an injury, when you couldn't take a jab to the body from either these guys.

If Thurman beats Andre Berto, he's ready to face Mayweather. Anybody who beats Andre Berto is more qualified than Pacquiao to face Mayweather.

They put him in with Peterson, Berto or Khan, people will still criticize him. They'll say he was cherry picking.

                    NSB fans aren't satisfied. Ever.

Lol... You act like you know me. I could care less about what the injury was. Fights get stopped by injuries just call it a TKO and that's the end of it. Does it make the loser feel better if we let the crowd know he has a rib injury??? Let's announce it this way: "Diaz is unable to continue due to a vicious hook that cracked his rib.... He also has a broken nose... And it appears he's short on courage".
