Yes Matthyse knocked the guy out I was watching. I'm jus sayin something might have got taken out of him after the Garcia fight. He gets dropped twice by a guy who got ko'ed by demarco and best win was mickey bey ? This is the machine we're talking about. I give matthyse props for adjusting.Comment

First it was a great fight. Matthysse was great favorite tonight and Molina was a real warrior and has real power but he probably failed on not adjusting by the 6th or 7th round (his corner should take the blame). Lucas was able to change his original plan while Molina kept doing the same and his work rate decreased a lot in the last 3-4 rounds. Molina was probably counting a lot on winning with a big punch and he had some success just during the first 4 rounds. At the end the expected fighter won but it was not easy and that is what made an excellent combat.Comment

yeah he goes up 5lbs but looks a lot bigger, ok
Molina probably just ruined his entire career, just listen to him after the fight. he sounds like James Toney.
even the commentators were puzzled by his ability to take all those power shots

Both guys fought valiantly. Molina could have used a stiff jab tonight and the fight may have been different for him side note: was it just me or did anyone else think Molina looked like Glass Joe from Tyson's punchout with his haircut and the way he was hitting those bigass gloves together tonight?Comment

dont try to add insult to injury. Maybe against Demarco, the weight got to him. Maybe he had a shixxy training camp, maybe Demarco had a better game plan or hit harder than Mattysee. Imo it looked like Demarco jumped on him early before he could warm up just like Ishida did James Kirkland.that fight was a couple years ago anyway. Alot can change. Great fight. I think mathysse is shot now. Having life and death with a light weight thats no good. Molinas chin and punching power was impressive he rocked mathysse 4 times and dropped him twice. He was worn down in the end thats a shame.Comment

Lucas is shot? Do you even know what you talking about? He just got dropped by a power puncher. He was a bit cold like he always in the past. That's the way he is and sometimes he gets in a fast start, but tonight he was a bit cold. Once he get cut he stepped it up and in my opinion we was winning on all rounds until he got dropped on the 2nd and 5th.Comment

Great fight! They both showed a ton of heart & the will to want to win & gave it their all! Even thou Molina was the fighter coming up in weight, he looked huge next to Matthysse(like a middleweight fighting a welter Jr) Matthysse had the better conditioning & attacking the body from the start & staying on top of Molina punishing him was what got him the victory. Definite canidate for "Fight of the year"'Comment
