Matthysse does have a great chin, but he got hit with excellent punches from a huge puncher. No shame in that. I think some of those would have dropped Danny as well.
I’m just saying, Lucas fans were claiming he had a chin, but when he finally fought punchers, he tasted the canvas several times already. If he fights a puncher in his next fight, he will taste the canvas again I’m sure of it.

The fight was competitive, and its called veteran tactics, Hopkins does it all the time. He was still fighting the bigger fighter taking a ton of punishment, Lucas was fighting a blown up lightweight who got koed with one punch in his first title defense by a lightweight.

Lucas didn’t dominate anything, he just went life and death with a club fighter, Broner moved up and fought a proven champion at his natural weight class. I’m not even a Broner fan but I am at least honest.
