john ruiz is one of the best heavyweights.....

of the last 10 years. he beat holyfield who is one of the all time greats, which makes him an all time great. he finds a way to beat everyone, as he has proved in the past.

john ruiz should be inducted in the h.o.f.

Um him and Byrd have the best resumes outta of the champs at the moment, that can't be denied. However, I don't think he'll ever be a HOF caliber guy. He wins though, so who knows

Yea and he was the guy who beat Jones because he put the bait out for Jones to step up and he knew Jones would have to step down and would have a problem with making the weight

In terms of skill, Ruiz is one of the WORST fighters ever to hold a belt. He wins by fouling. Lucky for him he is protected by a powerful promoter and one of the most annoying blowhards ever to manage a fighter (Norman Stone).

Ruiz will ALWAYS lose to someone like Jones.

Ruiz holding a belt is testament to how weak the heavyweight division is right now.

Doubtful. The guy in my avatar is Pai Mei. He is nearly impervious to all external damage. Forget about hitting him low too. He can retract his testicles at will.

I mean, he killed the head abbot of the Shaolin temple!!!! Ruiz has nothing on him.

Ruiz is straight ass. If a referee stopped him from "man hugging", it would be over. He cant throw combinations, which is why he hugs(which is illegal). No Don King=Ruiz looking like he did against David Tua every ****ing time he fights. He wouldnt get away with that **** if Don King didnt have a red dot on the referee's chest.

Only if Norman Stone shoots Ali before hand. Then maybe.
