I agree, in part; but another part of me wishes Wlad would be more clinical with this trash opposition. Let's be frank, Leapai only ever stood a puncher's chance. He was completely outmatched and it was obvious from Round 1. Wladimir should have upped the pace and not carried him. I know Wlad likes to give 'value for money', but i'm growing tired of this BS. Leapai is the worst opponent he has faced in years, and it still went 5 rounds.

There are good Klitschko fans, like Freedom, he knows his stuff. But they are few and far in between
If Wladimir is boring in your mind you must find Rigo, Bhop, Mayweather and Andre Ward boring aswell.

wilder vs fury fighting each other is a good idea, and will more than likely happen sooner or late, however i'd like to see both men fight wlad, just because if one loses it should not mean he doesnt get to fight wlad

both have different strengths and assets, wilder has raw power, and fury has experience and mental strength
I wouldn't have anything against, but at least they should deserve it (especially Wilder, Fury already has some decent names on his resume). Why should Wilder get advantage over Pulev by fighting total bums and no-hopers.

if wilder wants his chance he should fight pulev or chisorra or someone else who won't go down after first jab wilder throws (well wilder doesn't have a jab, but you get the point...)

They think a small heavyweight from the early 1900s could walk into this division and dominate there is no rational thinking behind them only bias.

The Klitschkos done the exact same thing as Joe Louis did and guess what, Joe Louis had a hiccup in his career aswell with Max Schmeling (who isn't the greatest fighter) simple put If you don't have a loss in your record chances are you haven't fought everyone available.
Like for saying sakes Muhammad Ali lost to Joe Frazier we all know Ali is miles better than Frazier and that shouldn't of happened but it did, every great fighter can lose and just like Ali and Louis lost to somewhat good fighters but not world class so did Wladimir.
            Keep posting son!

I didn't see nothing wrong with Wlad's aggressiveness in this fight. This Alex dude can take a punch. Wlad was throwing non-stop. He was tagging him from round 1. Why risk it at all (even that 1%) just to make it 1-2 rounds shorter by going crazy.
Wlad got tagged by cheating Wach by being too eager to take him out early. It would take some other guys much longer to take Alex out. I doubt Fury takes him in less than 5. It took him quite a while to take Joey Abell, who is not even on Leapai's level.

Agree entirely. Wilder has been ushered into contention without fighting any top 20 heavies.

Those fighters are all arguably boring.

The thing is despite not being a Floyd fan I admit he's one of the best defensive boxers ever. I'll be cheering for Maidana on a personality/style basis. Not because I deny Floyd is a phenomenal boxer.

People come on here and straight up say Wladimir is a joke who sucks and lords over the worst opponents in history. Nobody on planet Earth can beat him at boxing but he sucks.

Calling him boring is fine but once they start to detract from his skill and talk about some NBA player would whoop him with a few weeks training (yes I've seen them say that numerous times) they look like full-blown ******s.

however its time wlad fought a genuine threat, someone his own size, and i can think of two names
Fury & Wilder are both his size... do they have jabs like KLitschko in there arsenal? We've had hundreds of super heavyweights to lace them up through the years... how many have had monster jabs & super right hands to go along with it except for two brothers from the Ukraine...size matters to everyone else not named Klitschko.

I don't rate Fury at all, but all the talk before the fight about how Wlad is a 'bad ass' and how he'd finished Leapai 'early', I, perhaps rather naively, expected him to follow up on his words. Leapai was, as expected, rubbish. Wlad could have finished him way earlier and in clinical fashion. He does himself no favours sometimes.

Anyway, Pulev next. That should be a better fight.
