It's very difficult to endear yourself to the boxing public when you're worried about the consequences of throwing an uppercut. But Vladamir is a great champion, however unless some genuine contenders get a shot his legacy will be comparable to rocky Marciano. Thankfully I expect we will see him fight some live opponents before his career is over as the future scene is looking promising.

Nobody is excited. It's post-fight banter time and that's where things are a bit more "exciting" before things settle down.

Other then that, most are just reacting to the biased post-fight comments and defending Wlad a bit, so it's not as one-sided as the ESPN commentary with Teddy Atlas.

Thanks for demonstrating your second grade-level reading comprehension. I didn't claim that Wilder could beat Wladimir. I stated that, while he still has a lot to prove, I'm excited to see what happens with his development.

Styles make fights. I think Wladimir's style, which works great against shorter, poorly conditioned fighters who don't understand distance, could be problematic against an athletic fighter who is just as tall and long.

In case you haven't noticed Wlad has always done rather well against tall fighters.
