Canelo is underrated still imo. Lara is overrated.

    I think it's a 50-50 fight.

Hope this fight happens in Texas so we get the correct result.
Canelo can win against anyone in texas lol.

But Lara will beat down Canelo and hopefully he stops him so we don't have to see a robbery. After this fight I will like Canelo more for taking on the highest risk at 154

He will throw that combination then take the rest of the round off like he always does. Never understood how Canelo has horrific stamina.

Alvarez only throws combos when his opponent is right in front of him. Lara will not be right in front of him.

This is the definition of a 50/50 fight. I think it's going to be 7 rounds to 5 either way, maybe even a draw.

Canelo in Texas = 40,000 sold tickets. That generates a lot of money for both fighters.

Since we know Lara only sold 256 tickets at his last fight in AC or wherever.

Why after the fight? He already fought the P4P king at age 22-23. He took his boxing lesson, improved and never made excuses (when he could have complained about the catchweight). He came back, KO'd a guy who had given the proclaimed # 154 lber a hell of a fight and stopped him. Then he challenged himself again, probably against his promoter's advice, and is taking on the guy that nobody in the general public cares about. Only us hardcore boxing heads know about Lara and his skills.

He's doing this **** for us, when the so called gods of boxing don't even try to take on the biggest challenges.

I wouldn't be surprised if after this fight Canelo gives one of the Charlo brothers a shot because he loves to challenge himself and prove his doubters wrong.

The issues he had with Mayweather imo were he was step behind in everything. I think this is a lot more even playing field, and Canelo does everything better than Lara accept maybe move.
Canelo will be the agressive fighter that night, Lara is more of the counter puncher. Lara won't be pressing the action like Trout had to, due to the open scoring. Open scoring ruined that fight IMO.

Lara and Canelo have about the same power. Both made Trout look like Bambi but I think Lara moves better and is the sharper counter puncher not to mention southpaw.

Canelo does put combinations quicker though.
