I love both sports but boxing especially as of now has much more excitement and personality. UFC storyline and drama is pretty low rate and not really a way to get anyone completely invested in to it.

I understand techniques and certain legends in the sport of MMA like Gracie but I believe boxing is a much harder sport and dangerous.

Because most boxers don't fight like a couple of drunks.

There's nothing that compares to a big fight in boxing IMO. It's the most aesthetically pleasing sport to me. The actual action usually entertains me as well, a fight has to really, really suck for me to not get any enjoyment out of it. The strategy, the danger, the differing styles, the one on one aspect, it's the best sport in the world.

If any other sport had the problems boxing did with promoters and the best avoiding the best, it would have died long ago. That boxing survives to this day is only because of the enjoyment it provides that nothing else can.

MMA is like the decathlon. Boxing is like sprinting. The boxer is great at what he does like a sprinter is good at running. While the MMA fighter can box a lil and do everything else it takes to compete in MMA at a fairly reasonable level. The way a decathlete is good but not great at every track and field event. Btw, in the Olympics, the decathlete is known as the superior overall athlete compared to the others.

MMA is sloppy as ****.. Talent pool sucks. Might be good in 30 years though. PLUS wrestling sucks!

              This explains how I feel.

Something just doesn't hit with me and UFC. It might be the crappy production? Everyone screaming all the time is just annoying. I can't name 3 UFC fighters to be honest.

I just don't find it interesting.
