Comments Thread For: Smith To Rosado: Keep Doing Your Thing, Keep Losing!

When Erislandy Lara pulled out of a scheduled May 2nd fight against Ishe Smith in order to secure a more lucrative fight with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in July, Smith and his team understood. They realized it’s the nature of the business and if they were in Lara’s shoes, they admit they would’ve done the same thing.

Middleweight contender Gabriel Rosado however wasn’t so understanding when his offer to step in to face Smith was dismissed. A back and forth on social media between both fighters ensued as Rosado took offense to being considered desperate for a fight by Smith.

If he doesn't get robbed in the J'Leon Love fight, his career might have changed. The ref stopping the fight premature in the Quillin fight. Charlo? We'll Charlo just kicked his ass but the 1st two things really derailed his career.

I'd rather watch Rosado in a losing effort than any of Ishe's fights. Ishe is only relevant when he has a belt because he isn't supremely skilled/talented or entertaining. At least it would've been watchable if he was fighting Rosado instead of Davis.

Yeah but Ishe would lose to each of Rosado's last 4 opponents.

Well at least Smith could say he beat Chris Gray, a common opponent, who Rosado lost to.

Jokes aside, Smith has Bailey, Wolak, Bundrage, Gomez, close fight with Mora, close fight Molina. 6 losses but he hasn't been KTFO, which is what Rosado basically became popular for until his recent close fights with Quillin and Love.
