Comments Thread For: Photos: Thurman-Diaz, Matthysse-Molina, More Weigh-In

LOS ANGELES --- Keith "One Time" Thurman is tired of hearing about all of Julio Diaz's experience.

Thurman, 25, knows Diaz, 34, is a 15-year veteran with 50 fights on his record. Thurman said none of that matters when he steps in the ring to defend his WBA welterweight title against Diaz in the main event on Saturday night at StubHub Center in Carson on Showtime.

Gonna be rooting for Diaz this time! Made a bet with my coworker he was gonna last the 12 rounds. I like Thurman but I feel he getting way too much hype around here. Might get tickets to this.
On another note, good to see Frankie Gomez getting back in the ring. Been a while since I've heard anything about him.

Yea Molina is game as hell, and has a great chin, but not sure how well it will fair against Lucas power. If he can withstand it then he might be able to outwork lucas and maybe get a late stoppage, but Mathysse can ****!

                All looking good.

Lucas won't be needing no gift like Danny boy. Molina going to sleep.

On another note, props to both guys for getting in there with each other. It takes cojones to get in there knowing either one could get stopped. Meanwhile Garcia is fighting feather dusters.
