Grade Dan Goosen's Job With Andre Ward

I'll admit, I'm just a guy from the outside looking in, but IMO, Dan Goosen has done a pretty decent job with Ward. He was able to get him fights in Oakland during the Super 6, he's headlined on HBO and ShowTime, he's now the face of HBO and he's getting millions to fight guys like Edwin Rodriguez.

And as a Ward fan, I'll admit he doesn't have the most fan friendly style or outgoing personality to become a big draw.

Is Dan Goosen really doing that bad of a job?

I give him an A+ from what i see of course..he got him into the super 6 and he never had to leave the country..then he got him a fight with the lineal 175 champ at 168...he has climbed to p4p #2...but i do not know what money Ward has been made and what he think he should have made so i can not speak on that at all

He's done a good job. Ward got set up enough to almost reach the pinnacle of the sport. Ward did get 2 million to fight Edwin Rodriguez.

Gave Goosen a B. From the outside looking in it seems to me that Ward has gotten the fights he wanted and he is getting paid well. Goosen can't get an A+ because Ward is suing him. There has to be some problems that the public isn't aware of.

The question is whether is Ward on the right or is he on the wrong on this lawsuit?

Ward is getting paid even without the huge fan base. But American gold medalist top 3 fighter in the world should be known more by the public

I heard, don't remember the source, that Goosen was trying to use Ward as leverage to get other fighters in his stable HBO dates. And Ward didn't like that.

To me, Haymon has done that with Mayweather for years so that can't be the whole story.

Ward is just as much to blame.

He got more thank 2.5 i think after the weight penalty. He had done a very good job with him. His biggest mistake (if he was that didnt want it) was avoiding bute, which would be a great and big money win for ward at the time

Bradley was that not long ago, and is no better known with Top Rank, probably sells less tickets.

Bradley gets bigger paydays, but that's because he has Pacquiao in his division.
