Cruiserweight Ilya Rolgeyzer (3-0) scored an uneventful six-round unanimous decision over chubby Ukrainian Roman Mirzoev. The only memorable moment of the fight happened at the end of the fifth, when Rolgeyzer was placed to the canvas for a couple of minutes after a big blow below the belt line. Scores were 60-54 and 60-53 (twice) for the Russian.

Debuting light welterweight Sergey Lipinets (1-0) made a successful start to his pro career, widely outpointing veteran Venezuelan Franklin Varela (21-15, 10 KOs) over six. The latter had done just barely to survive, which included numerous low blows; for one of those he was deducted a point in round three. Scores were 60-53, 60-53 and 60-52 - for Lipinets.
