I think Mayweather was su****ious of Pacquiao and wanted assurances that OST would give. I think Pacquiao was ubsure Mayweather would make the weight so asked for assurances too. That's my speculation. What is yours on why Pacquiao asked for random testing after Marquez IV?
Also, what's your speculation as to why Pacquiao wouldn't face a fighter he already destroyed, over 150lbs? Or why he'd a bigger CW to face Canelo than Mayweather? Nothing's changed. Just waiting for you to actually answer a question rather than asking one.

Aside from Mayweathers take on this possible fight, which is irrelevant, does anyone else find it strange that all of the sudden we're hearing about Oscar negotiating a fight with Arum directly and not using Richard Schaffer?
I know there are rumors of a split between the two, but I just don't see it. Oscar may not be the smartest person in the room, but when it comes to the business of boxing, he's made correct decisions. Surely he knows his best option is not to split his company since Haymon would be taking all his best fighters.
What I'm wondering, and maybe I'm reaching here but could it be Oscar and Schaffer playing the good cop bad cop thing here. Could it be that Golden Boy wants to get back into the good graces of HBO, but doesn't want to anger Showtime, so they create this "split" in order to get Canelo and a few other fighters on HBO?Last edited by JJRod; 04-24-2014, 10:41 AM.
