Danny thrives in the role of the underdog, when he is expected to lose he turns the tables. He was expected to walk the Herrera fight and that role does not suit his mindset and get the best out of him. At 147 he is the underdog again and I see him rising to the challenge. The Herrera fight was a healthy wake up call for him and I don't see him being complacent again. Danny needs a challenge to bring the best out of him and making a name for himself at 147 is that challenge.I don't think we will see lack luster Herrera fight type performance again.

Whatever you say Danny. If you go after the best welters, you'll get your ass handed to you soon enough.

He better hope Herrera doesn't jump up to 147.

I think he's warning them as in him breaking into their homes and stealing stuff, like he stole his last fight.

That said, he still was chosen as a guy who was supposed to be a lamb to the slaughter against a young champ making his return to his home country. But Herrera decided not to follow the script.
              Agreed. Showcase gone wrong.

Danny Swift Garcia, perhaps the most underrated and underappreciated of all the undefeated undisputed champions in any weight division in recent boxing history......"it's ok though cuz we workin in God's time"............ one thing is for sure though after every Swift fight it's "hater" hunting season!!!

Well, Garcia could rematch fights against Erik Morales and/or Zab Judah at 147 so the hype could continue. One think is for sure at whatever division Garcia fights his father, Angel, will continue being obnoxious and talking trash.

He is an overachiever and has done very well so far but every dog has it's day and can't see him dominating 147 as he has done at 140 but he has surprised me before so you never know.
I agree with every word. I would've lost a lot of money betting against Garcia at 140. I expect him to finally take a couple of losses at 147...but I'm not betting on it. lol
