Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia Warns Top Welterweights To Watch Out

Danny Garcia barely held onto his junior welterweight titles in a disputed win over Mauricio Herrera last month.

He probably won't be the champion for much longer, but for a different reason.

"My next fight, that's probably going to be my last fight at 140 (pounds)," Garcia said Saturday during the Showtime broadcast. "I've got one more fight and then 147 here I come. So you guys had better watch out. I've got my eyes open."

Says the motherf**ker who got beat in what was supposed to be a showcase against a part-time plumber (that's not a joke either). Lmaooooooo

But yeah, watch out top welters.

Danny might be looking forward to Cinco de Mayo date with Floyd Mayweather next year if he can get to 30-0.

Danny definetly lost that fight, but let's remember that part time plumber also beat Ruslan Provodnikov. Herrera can fight.

I wonder who Golden Boy has their eye on for Garcia's first fight at 147.

Yeah there's no doubt. I like Mauricio a lot. Real good dude & underrated boxer. I made him sound like a bum there but bum he ain't.

That said, he still was chosen as a guy who was supposed to be a lamb to the slaughter against a young champ making his return to his home country. But Herrera decided not to follow the script.

Danny ducking rematches with Matthysse and Herrera by hiding at 147. But I guess we're gonna have to follow him up there then.
