if you wanna be unbiased, lara's wins> canelos wins. canelo ****** bad against trout, matthew hatton, and floyd. canelo struggled bad with counter punches like floyd and trout, what is lara's specialty? oh yea, counter punching, if anything lara is favored to win this fight.

Everybody knows this, Canelo is the future of boxing. He is already fighting the very best out there back 2 back.

Canelo will get his ass exposed several times, but he still has that drawing power if that happens. Boy could get knocked out, no problem.

Listen, lara has a difficult style,he's a southpaw who likes to use distance, but i feel lara being so anxious for this fight, it will work against him, like fighting out of character ( being aggresive).. with that being said lara has never been in the ring in the pro ranks with a fighter who could put together combos the way canelo can, not to mention canelo's greatly improved defence...at this moment i feel canelo is a better fighter imo..but hey i could be wrong..

The trout fight wasnt his best performance but he won it regardless. I do think alot of the way canelo fight played out was due to the open scoring which i think caused him to play it safe rather then trying to finish the fight...both canelo and lara looked great in their last fights and dominated eachothers past foes pretty dominately...(lara beating trout) and (canelo beating angulo) its a great fight but alot of lara's fans are the ones making a case for lara beating canelo, when the fact is lara is still pretty unknown to alot of boxing fans, but if canelo beats lara convincingly which i believe he will, would that not mean he got passed lara??

I'm going with Canelo over Lara. To me, Lara has shown that he can be dropped and I think Canelo fighting top-notch competition has put him where he wants to be. I suspect Canelo wins UD.
