Those 10rders are money in the bank rounds which helps a boxers career. Lomo went 12 rounds but he didn't learn anything. He's very hittable and against a fast fighter like Mr. Jr I don't see him winning a round.
Something to point out in 24 fights I don't think Russell has lost a round ,that's impressive I don't care who you fought.

If Lomachenko would have been able to finish Salido in the 12th, so many folks would be singing a different tune. And he almost did it. This is undoubtedly Russell's toughest fight to date. Is it Loma's? I'm not sure.

i think team loma got too ****y with the whole 2nd fight for a world title fight againts a legit champ ...he does have a very good potential but really needs more experience..but againts an unproven guy like russell , i guess its a fair game

This fight can't really be considered a step up for Lomachenko, given that his last fight was against a proven, veteran, world champion. If Lomachenko fights aggressively, as he does when he's at his best, Gary Russell Jr. will probably be in serious trouble.

I'm afraid it might be too. I'm not writing Loma off now, but it's hard to find where he has any advantages in this one. Even if they were both entering the fight at 0-0 or 20-0. Footspeed maybe? Length? How could this possibly be 50-50?

Russell may be unproven to this point, but he is on that same slow track that fighters like Ward and Garcia were on. It speaks to a level of professionalism that we see now that they are champions. That's how you learn how to win and DEFEND a chamionship. There are a lot of fighters out there like this with records like his just waiting for the right fight to burst onto the scene. Russell seems like the one in this position. I hate to be critical, but it seems like Loma isn't even taking this **** seriously

Lomachenko with 10 fights would have beaten el Siri. Look what Mikey did.

Also, STFU Russell, your best opponent up to date is 0-1

None of that matters because he doesn't have 10 pro fights. Smh. This is one fight I can't miss.

I can't believe this fight is going down.

One of boxing's best prospects against one of the greatest amatuers of all time.

Fights like this just don't happen anymore. Better enjoy it while it lasts.
