I noticed alot of fighters cut an insane amount of weight being bearly under the weight class limit and then gain 10+ lbs right after the weigh in I mean if a guy is 5-10% bf does he really have to kill himself to get the extra weight? Just seems like alot of bs whats your 2 cents on this nsb?
Does anyone fight at there own weight class?

Aside from heavyweights not really. There are some guys who don't cut very much like Floyd and Manny but that's because they moved up to more popular divisions even though they could cut lighter.
It's part of the sport, some guys just take it too far, come to the scales half dead then explode to 180 lbs. Many of the serious tragedies in ring have been linked to dehydration from cutting but there doesn't seem to be an easy solution. If you moved the weighins to right before the fight guys would still try it and just endanger themselves.Comment

problem with weight cutting is that its a fine line between being weight drained and being strong.. it can be like a gamble each fighter takes... basically there's probably not many fighters whose best possible fighting weight is exactly the weight they're fighting at - whether its 147, 175 whatever.. a lot fighters probably come in at 65% to 90% of their full strength because of various levels of weight-draining..Comment
