Lol lets wait till hypejob thurman beats a b-level fighter first. Jesus Christ Thurman fanboys are annoying as hell. his best win was soto-Karrass, a guy with a dozen losses and was destroyed by Maidana quicker, and now people think this guy can beat elite fighters, lmao.

Porter, Brook, Provodnikov, Bradley, Marquez, Danny, Herrera, Maidana, Guerrero would all beat hype job thurman. PAC and MAY would wipe the floor with him.

Thurman is for real. You can tell by his fighting style, intensity and direct approach that he is the real deal. He is unlike Broner who uses flash to distract from his shortcomings both in and outside the ring. Thurman beats Porter in my eyes and has what it takes to be champ at 147.

agreed porter got outworked by amateurs in sparring.

It's refreshing to see intelligent, well spoken fighters. I'm not 100% sold on this dude but he's certainly showing promise and I've become a fan.

What's with the hype job bs? Thruman has a crowd pleasing style and is getting some deserved recognition. What's wrong with getting excited about a young, up and coming fighter?

Porter not so much, he looked terrific against a faded Pauli and is a very busy, aggressive fighter but he doesn't have the all round game to beat the best in the division.

thurman looks more promising. good power, moves well and has that little something extra. I can't put my finger on it but he'll do better than Porter.
