Yes I agree with you, Foreman was knocking people, even a cow for what I heard before (he punched the cow on top of the head) he used his ring intelligent when he fought Foreman. Dude was gassed out after hitting Ali on the body all throughout the fight, then it was easy picking after that. But for me, Fraizer 1,2,& 3 are the most memorable fights that I saw him.

I agree with you again JC, and see that's the thing that irritates me the most. Manny and Floyd are the hottest and baddest guys back then (actually Floyd is the top dog now) but while Floyd was retired Manny was the biggest name, then Floyd unretire and tried to dictate almost everything. Again, both are to blame. But can you blame Manny for not giving in back then? Remember, he was the top dog before Floyd unretired. But you're right, Floyd is a control freak that act like a child when someone tells him there is a baddest boy in the neighborhood aside from him.

Yeah his fights against Frazier were crazy too.

But Foreman - Ali has a symbolic behind it that is amazing. Foreman looked unstoppable at that time. He destroyed Frazier, who gave Ali his toughest fight before. So Ali had to go fight an unstoppable machine who just destroyed a guy that gave you hell. Ali claimed after the fight that he was terrified but still went to fight.

And seeing Ali taking these bodypunches in the first 5 rounds, it's like a symbol that this fight was like life. Life will hit you non stop and will get you through hell. But if you keep up you can get through it.

I don't hate Manny, that is for those of you who are emotionally invested. You had no problem calling Floyd a ***** for fight Canelo at a catchweight when he won titles in that very weight class. You however, will not hold Manny to that standard, even though he himself has won a title in that weightclass. You like him, that is why you will not be critical of him.
