Wonderful isn't it.Especially when you consider Khan has never fought at WW. Those rankings are clearly some kind of fiddle and have no credibility at all.Khan is quick but not explosive,he does not pack a lot of power.

If not Khan then who? In my opinion Manny Pacquaio is the most deserving one, but we all know Floyd is ducking him for soo long.
Khan has some solid wins under his resume Kotelnik,Maliganggi,ZabJudah,Maidana,Diaz, robbed vs Peterson etc.
plus leave the deserving argument for a second do you agree on the point that Styles make fights? and Floyd is avoiding quicker opponents with quick hand and foot speed?
He's fighting Flatfooted big punchers who can't even keep up with the pace of Floyd how in this BLOODY world are they gonna catch him and crack the shoulder roll defence with some good shots?Comment

I agree with you 100% Khan doesn't deserve to be ranked anywhere near #2 right now. But Khan is explosive man only in Diaz fight he looked **** cause Virgil probably told him not to rush, did you see Khan vs Maliganggi,Maidana,Judah,Carlos Molina,Garcia? Khan give his opponents nightmares in early rounds.
I think if Khan fights the same way he fought Maliganggi,Judah or even Carlos Molina he has a Bloody chance.!Comment

I will agree that Floyd has never faced anyone with the hand speed, footspeed of Amir Khan.
His punch output is crazy as well.
Amir Khan is the most dangerous guy outside of Lara and Pacquiao, with Lara being the most dangerous of course.
I wouldn't be surprised if Amir Khan Vs Floyd Mayweather looks like Khan Vs Judah for the first few rounds, a shorter fighter being beat to the punch.Comment

well roach told us what happeened with the floyd manny fight so we can end that part of the debate.
Khan has all those wins at JWW. floyd is fighting at WW and has fought at JMW. How is that avoiding him? Maidana is a top 4 ww (floyd-champ, then manny, JMM, tim) and the only top 4 ww not affiliated with TR. since we know what is going on, this would be the best fight available for floyd at ww.
Adults with common sense know the poll was a marketing/promotional ploy. NSB argued that the poll where Khan won was fixed and cited Maidana winning every other poll as evidence he and not Khan deserved the fight.
Styles do make fights.
I don't know how Maidana will but I'm sure he and Garcia are working on ways to get it done.Comment

What statement? beating a old washed up Paulie? he arguably lost to Diaz in first fight.
Khan is more deserving than Porter anyday has a 10 times better resume also not to forget Khan beaten a fresher younger version of Paulie 4 years ago and completely dissected him in all departments.Comment

Porter KOd Maliganggi and Shaefer is already talking about a Mayweather fight. He also beat Alexander who Khan chose to pass on,so Porter is winning and doing the things to EARN a Mayweather shot whereas Khan has been sitting it out with a deluded sense of entitlement. Khan is not more DESERVING and his last 4 fights and recent history are what people are looking at not his ancient history resume of 3-4 years ago. Porter has a title Khan just has hot air and a recent run of shoddy form right now. the fact that porter took on Alexander and Khan chose to bail out of that fight makes it very clear who is more deserving.
Sitting on your a$$ harping on about styles makes fights and going on about speed and then scraping the barrel using the South Asian/Middle Eastern/Pakistani market as a main selling point rather than using recent fights to justify his case clearly shows the entitlement King knows he he is on dodgy grounds.He should have been active,rebuilding his career and making statements and earning the Mayweather fight rather than sitting it out. Then he would be deserving but as it is right now he has got what he deserved which is to watch an active fighter who he has beaten earn his shot. Khan needs to get off his a$$ and EARN IT and beating Collazo puts him in the frame but in no way outshines Porter.Comment

I remember Khan's last fight against Diaz. What I don't understand is, how is Khan the best challenge for the best fighter in the world, given his subpar struggle against a journeyman like Diaz? I don't get this ducking thing at all.
Styles make fights? Tell me one style aspect that Diaz has over Mayweather-- one thing Diaz does better than Floyd. I don't get it at all.Comment
